(If you came to my site via another blog or a blog network, etc, just ignore all this… I put this on for my family and friends that were interested in seeing what I put up but don’t blog. Its just the basics that any blogger knows)

If you’ve never read or used a blog before, it should be noted that they are little different from a typical web page. But it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure it out. I mean really… If I’M able to create and maintain a blog, anyone can figure out how to read, subscribe, or comment on one.
A blog is set up to automatically arrange posts (or articles that have the content) but also shows the posts in the order that they were entered online. So you can browse what I’ve written by the dates that I wrote them (which is pretty haphazard and random, i’ll warn you…) or you can go to the right side and look over the categories. If you want to look at recipes, click recipes. Ta da!
Or if you know what type of recipe/post you’re looking for you, you can search for it in the search field. For instance, if you have a lot of carrots on hand that you’d like to cook, search for carrots. Every recipe I have that involves carrots will show up.
If you’re on a specific post and you liked it, please leave a comment! Its actually incredibly easy to do. If you’re in the individual post page, scroll to the bottom and simply type your comment in the comment box and hit submit/leave comment. If you’re on the blogs main page, you’ll need to hit ‘leave comment’ at the bottom of the post. That will take you to the individual blog entry.
In the unlikely event that you absolutely LOVE my blog (or are at least mildly interested…
) you can subscribe to it. What that means is that you get a bookmark in your favorites that says Aubree Cherie Cooks. When you put your mouse cursor over that it will show all my latest entries. So if you see a recipe that sounds interesting, you can go directly there from whatever web page you’re currently on. I love to do this with other blogs because it allows me to see whats been happening, but I don’t have to search through things nor do I have e-mail updates clogging my inbox. To subscribe, there is a little orange button at the top left of my blog that says “Subscribe to my blog”. Make sure you click on the actual orange button. Then select the “Subscribe to this blog using Live Bookmarks” and “Subscribe Now”. See, that wasn’t so hard.. haha
That should cover the basics for now, but if you have any questions at all, you can either leave a comment or e-mail me directly at
